So, this year’s Customs House panto will, for the first time in a long time, be without both Bob Stott and Ray Spencer (the former having retired after last year’s triumphant run, the latter having to sit it out due to doctor’s orders.)
They’re a tough act to follow, but the theatre has pulled out all the stops to assemble a fantastic new cast – and I’m chuffed to say that I’m a part of it! We’ll start rehearsals around the 18th November, and the first performance is on 28th Nov. There are 70 shows in all, running right through until 5th January 2014. (It’s a nice feeling, to know I’ve got work into next year!)
The good news is that Ray – despite not being in the show, and despite retiring his alter-ego Tommy the Trumpeter last month – is still taking a very active role in the show, both writing and directing it, and no doubt he will steer the new young cast to success.

The pantos at the Customs House are always great fun and packed full of entertainment for the whole family, and this year will be no different. Take a closer look here. And make sure you head over to their website and book your tickets.
